During the second half of 2025, within the framework of the AFID project “Providing Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalization”, important events took place that demonstrated the expansion and strengthening of the Virtual Inclusive Campus (VIC) network. Sumy National Agrarian University officially joined the initiative, opening new opportunities for the implementation of modern digital inclusive learning tools, the development of individual educational trajectories for students, more active participation of teachers and students in the international academic community, and the exchange of best practices among partner universities.
On August 29, 2025, a dissemination seminar was held at Dnipro University of Technology, during which the results of the first stage of pilot training in the Interuniversity Inclusive Virtual Campus were summarized. From January to June 2025, 368 students studied in the VIC, of whom 96 completed courses offered by Dnipro University of Technology. Among them, 34 were students from other universities, and 62 were students of Dnipro University of Technology. Positive feedback from participants and their interest led to the launch of the second pilot phase, which will begin at the end of September 2025 with the participation of five Ukrainian universities. During the seminar, mechanisms for integrating the learning outcomes obtained in the VIC into students’ individual educational trajectories were also discussed. The event served as a platform for discussing the further implementation of inclusive digital solutions, expanding cooperation between higher education institutions in Ukraine, and shaping strategic steps for the development of the VIC.
